Happy to announce APERTURE has been selected for the 2024 Mystic Film Festival. Ecstatic to be selected for this festival – proud of my cast and crew.
The festival is in its 7th year and is becoming a destination festival. Beautiful, New England village on the Mystic River. A variety of seminars and a lot of filmmaker support.
This is my second film to show at this festival and I am excited to finally participate.

Metropolitan Regional Arts Council awards Julie Anne Koehnen the Next Step Fund grant

FY23 Next Step Fund Awards Announced

Congratulations to the 33 individual artists who were awarded a FY23 Next Step Fund grant. On June 27, 2023, the MRAC board approved $165,000 in funding for individual artists residing in the 7-county metropolitan region.
